Random post with no specific topic ^.^

Today is just some extremely random day and since I seriously have got nothing better to do , I went blog-visiting . I visited everyone’s blog but didn’t really leave any messages in the cboxes because I was too busy reading the blogs and looking at pictures. Talking about pictures…my blog does lack of pics….but that’s only because I have absolutely no freakin idea how to put pictures in my blog and also the fact that I don’t have a digi cam so I can’t go cam whoring in dressing rooms n all and plus, I don’t think cam whoring is really my kind of thing. And about the digi cam, I was totally SUPPOSED to get one !!!

And now since I’ve mentioned the whole I’m-totally-supposed-to-get-a-digi cam thing,let me tell you why I didn’t get it. You know when parents go all, **If u do this or if you get blablabla marks/results/etc in ur blablabla exam/tornament/competition or wtvr thingy , I will reward you with ……….. ** and then when you actually DO manage to achieve the target and start awaiting your reward , your parents then totally forget about it or back out of their promise or something and the result is , you work your ass off to achieve the target in order to get your reward and your parents just forget all about it and duh, you don’t get no freakin reward .

And then when you try to remind your parents about your reward, they totally shrug it off and say they’ll get it some other day and of course that some other day they refer to exists just as much as rainbow unicorns and pink leprechauns that grant your every wish exists…in other words that some other day is no other day. And some parents , especially mine, lay the guilt trip on you, and make you feel all bad and guilty. Example:

Kid who wants so-called reward (KWWSCR) : Mom, dad , remember you promised me you’d get me a laptop if I got 8As in my PMR.

Evil parents (EP):
We did? Well, we’re kinda busy now so can it wait? (obviously when they say ‘can it wait?’ they don’t mean it as a suggestion , it’s more like an order )

KWWSCR:
But you promised me and you told me the exact same thing when I reminded you like, a week ago.( the EP obviously doesn’t remember that they tried to shrug it off a week ago)

EP:
OK, that’s it , do you have an idea how hard we work just to put food on the table and pay for all the living costs? And you , as a student , it is YOUR job to do well in your studies and why should we present you with a reward just for doing your responsibility?
And you just come in and ask us for this and that, do you know how pressured we get? Money doesn’t come falling from the sky you know!! We don’t print money !!

Okay…there we are , the perfect example, and the KWWSCR should do now in my opinion is to back away a bit and wait for them to chill a bit but then what the KWWSCR is most likely to do (which is also what I did ,BIG MISTAKE) is :
KWWSCR:
But I worked hard for it and you promised !!! My friend’s parents gave her a laptop !!!(never say that because it will only piss the EP off even more)

EP:
Oh really…we’re so sorry we’re so poor we cant give you a laptop so why don’t you just go run away and hope you can get adopted into some rich family who cant give you anything you want!!! Or why don’t you beg your friend’s parents to buy YOU a laptop!!
Why are you so ungrateful!?

Okay, when you get into such situations , you better just RUN and blardy well not say anything back in return because you do not want to go there. Trust me.

So that’s why I didn’t get my digi cam but it’s totally not the first time my EP did that to me….once they promised me to bring me to Sydney if I got 7As in my UPSR…hell yeah, I got 7As but did I get to go to Sydney? HELL NO!!!

Don’t you just hate it when parents do that!? >.< But that’s the way it goes , it’s like some stupid equation : KID + EVIL PARENTS = :( :( :(

But thank god not all parents are like that , some parents might have their evil moments (like mine) but are usually not evil most of the times. So we cant blame our parents , I mean, they want what’s best for us , right???
